Stručni časopis kao vid međunarodne saradnje nacionalnih biblioteka: Novi Glasnik Narodne Biblioteke Srbije.

Referat se bavi ulogom naučnih i stručnih časopisa u procesu diseminacije naučnih i stručnih otkrića, ideja i dokumenata, misijom i koncepcijom Glasnika Narodne biblioteke Srbije, njegovim širim (bibliotečko-informaciona delatnost) i užim (delatnost nacionalnih biblioteka) tematskim okvirom, koncepcijom i sadržajem pojedinih rubrika (teme, autori, prilozi) i oblicima i periodom izlaženja časopisa.

Professional Journal as a Form of International Cooperation of National Libraries: The New Glasnik of the National Library of Serbia

The paper deals with the role of scientific and professional journals in the process of disseminating scientific and professional discoveries, ideas and documents, with the mission and conception of the National Library of Serbia's Glasnik, its broader (library-information activity) and narrower (activity of national libraries) thematic frames, conception and contents of certain columns (themes, authors, supplements) and forms and periods of the issuing of the journal.
There is a special presentation of the column Portret in which one can find certain national and other significant libraries, library associations and educational institutions concerning librarianship.
In the paper one has analyzed the first two numbers of the Glasnik, the one for 1999 and the one for 2000, primarily from the viewpoint of the realization of the idea of the journal as a means for a free flow of discoveries, ideas and documents in the field of library-information activity, especially of national libraries.
The paper also includes the planned contents of the third number of the Glasnik, for the year of 2001, and a call for cooperation between librarians of national and other libraries.
