Summary: In my paper and in the Power Point presentaion I will speak about good examples of cooperation among librarians from the Balkan countries.Speaking from the position of public libraries, and presenting some personal exsperinces in that field. My presentation will have two parts: written and electronic.In the electronic part I will present web site www.balkanlibrary.net ,especially Balkan pulman place, as a good example of that how can we, on a very simple and effective way, can work together.I will also speak about cooperation in PULMAN XT project for public libraries . PULMAN-XT is a project for a complementary Thematic Network to extend the benefits of the PULMAN Network of Excellence, funded under IST FP5 (and currently covering 26 EU member and candidate states), to countries which neighbour the European Union and its candidate states, and where are and Balkan countries too, some in Pulman some in Pulman XT project.

Education of librarians can also be important field where we can share experiences, cooperate, and share recources.

The site was creating during the Second Meeting of librarians of Balkan countries and it is hosted in Belgrade by Internet club/library sector and non-government organisation Libraries without borders.On this site you can find Balkan Pulman place, special place with links on all countries involved in Pulman and Pulman XT project ...
