She underlines their role and position of their collaboration in society. She talks about contemporary progress, i. e. globalisation of culture. A special view is dedicated to Miša Anastasijevic, one of the most interesting Serbian and Romanian personalities in the second moiety of the 19. century, who was for many years and who is yet always representative of the Serbian and Romanian collaboration. Serbian and Romanian National Libraries keep memory of him, at his life and activity. |

Nesibe Gok Foca Halk Kutuphanesi Turkey Librarianship and Library Science in Turkey People in Turkey educated in the libraries by the librarians who were experienced before the formal education at the universities. The first librarianship course was organized for people who were working at the libraries in 1925-1926. The first regular librarianship course was organized during 1942-1952. In 1954 the librarianship department was established at Ankara University and the third department Hacettepe University in 1972-1973 was established. In 1989-1990 the librarianship department at Ankara University was divided into three main branches: Librarianship, Documentation and Information, Archive. Every year about 100-150 students have graduated at these Universities. |
