Balkanska inicijativa Berlinske i Brandemburške akademije nauka

Berlinska i Brandemburška akademija nauka i umetnosti u saradnji sa devet najuglednijih instituta, univerziteta i istraživačkih organizacija u pokrajini Berlin-Brandemburg pokrenula je inicijativu pod nazivom "Balkanska inicijativa berlinske i brandemburške akademije nauka" koja se odnosi na balkanske zemlje, a pre svega na današnju Jugoslaviju. Inicijativa je pokrenuta u junu 1999. godine sa ciljem da se pomogne zemljama na Balkanu da se uključe u naučne tokove razvijenih zemalja Zapadne Evrope. Ova akcija pomoći naučnicima i naučnim institucijama na Balkanu regionalnog je karaktera i jedina takve vrste u Nemačkoj.
Ciljevi ove inicijative su: optimizacija obrazovanja u zemljama na Balkanu; definisanje, odnosno reformisanje nastavnih planova i programa; stvaranje adekvatnih uslova za istraživanje u balkanskim zemljama (uključujuci bolju tehničku opremljenost i popravljanje situacije u bibliotekarstvu); lakše uspostavljanje međunarodnih kontakata i kooperacije u nauci i istraživanju.
Ovu inicijativu zakonski podržavaju najuglednije zadužbine na prostoru Nemačke, koje omogućavaju stipendije, gostovanja, programe razmene stručnjaka, letnje kurseve, snabdevanje opremom, zatim organizuju konferencije, simpozijume i okrugle stolove posvecene Balkanu.
U radu je posebna pažnja posvećena dosadašnjim uspešno realizovanim projektima, a predstavljene su i institucije i fondacije koje bi mogle biti od značaja za pomoć naučnicima iz naše zemlje.

The Balkan-Initiative of the Berlin Brandenburg Academy of
Sciences and Humanities

The Berlin and Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with nine most distinguished Institutions, Universities and Research Organizations, in the County of Berlin-Brandenburg, have established the Initiative, called "The Balkan-Initiative of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities", concerning Balkan's countries, and most of all the present F.R. of Yugoslavia.
The Balkan-Initiative was founded in June 1999, with a goal to help countries from Balkan to incorporate them into science cours of developed countries of the Western Europe. This aid program for scientists and science Institutions of the Balkan has a region character and it is unique of this kind in Germany.
The goals of this Initiative are: the optimization of the Education in countries of Balkan; the defining, in other words the reformation of the educational plans and programs; the creation of adequate conditions for researches in Blkan countries (including better technological equipment and better situation in the field of Librarianship); facilitate reintergration of international contacts and cooperation in Science and Research.
The most distinguished Foundations of Germany, financially support this Initiative, which provide sponsorship, visits, programs of exchange of experts, summer schools, supplying of equipment, organiyation of conferences, symposiums and round tables related to Balkan.
In this work, special attention is dedicated to previous successfully realized projects, and especially are represented Institutions and Foundations which could be of some importance for the aid for scientists from our country.
