Information science cirruculum at the undergraduate studies
of Library and Information science group

In my work I shall briefly present the information science curriculum at the undergraduate studies at the Department for Librarianship and Information Science of the Philological Faculty. Special attention will be paid to the importance the studying of the mathematical foundation of the information science as a prerequisite for the understanding and using of modern information tools. In regard to the more and more relevant natural-linguistic causality of information processing, one will point to the place and importance of the study of linguistics and one's native language concerning this curriculum. One will also point to the need for a constant advancement of the curriculum, which should follow the changes regarding the possibilities and use of new technologies. Finally, one will emphasize the necessity of the practical training of students for the work in the new conditions.

Program informatike na redovnim studijama Grupe za
bibliotekarstvo i informatiku

U radu će ukratko biti predstavljen program izučavanja informatike u okviru redovnih studija na Grupi za bibliotekarstvo i informatiku Filološkog fakulteta. Posebna pažnja biće posvećena značaju izučavanja matematickih osnova informatike kao preduslova za razumevanje i korišćenje savremenih informatičkih alata. U svetlu sve prisutnije prirodno-jezičke uslovljenosti informatičkih obrada, bice ukazano na mesto i značaj izučavanja lingvistike i maternjeg jezika u ovom programu. Takođe đe se ukazati na potrebu stalnog inoviranja programa koji bi pratio promene u mogućnostima i korišćenju novih tehnologija. Na kraju ce biti istaknuta neophodnost praktičnog obučavanja studenata za rad u novim uslovima.
